Selection Criteria
Because we believe that the small size of our program is critical to our students’ success, only the most motivated and promising applicants are admitted to RISE. To be eligible for admission, applicants must be rising high school juniors (11th grade) and seniors (12th grade). The minimum unweighted G.P.A. we require is 3.3. We carefully consider each applicant’s portfolio, including his or her extra-curricular activities and short essay (see application form).
